Oh, I love Thanksgiving. Because that means that it's almost Christmas, and Christmas is my absolute favorite time of the year. But since it was Thanksgiving on Thursday, I should probably dwell on that holiday a wee bit before moving on to bigger, better holidays. :)
I had an awesome Thanksgiving. We went to our friend's, the Munoz's, house. We have celebrated every Easter and Thanksgiving at their house since I was little, with only a handful of exceptions. We ate good food, of course. We had pie. I have come to the conclusion that there will be rooms full of pumpkin pie in heaven...or something along those lines. Then we played games, watched How to Train Your Dragon (best movie ever. "and now he's spinning...thanks for nothing you useless reptile!"), and played some intense Wii. If the Just Dance game can be considered 'intense'.
When we got home, we thought about going black Friday shopping at midnight. But despite my determination that we must go, i was very outnumbered by my less-than-enthusiastic neighbors. So we ended up staying at their house and watching a movie. It was a good day.
Moving on...It dawned on me the other day that thanksgiving is a verb. Brilliant, eh?
But it was amazing to really think about how much i have to be thankful for...and to actually give thanks to God for it all.
A few random things before i'm done:
I went sledding yesterday. It was epic.
Here with Us, by Joy Williams is my new favorite Christmas song.
Voyage of the Dawn Treader is coming out on December 10th.
Dominoes is possibly the best game ever invented.
I got prank called last night...
Movies are not near as entertaining at 1 a.m.
I like to read.
Ha. ha. ha.
In Christ,
hailey♥
